Rachael & Chris' Wedding - 9th April 2011

Rachael & Chris from New South Wales travelled to Port Douglas with 40 of their close family & friends for their wedding celebrations on 9th April 2011.

They tied the knot in the Crystal Wedding Chapel at the Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas, and followed it up with a reception at Il Pescatore Restaurant at the resort. Their celebrant Natasha Kollosche did a fantastic service, and it turned out to be a perfect afternoon for the wedding and their photo tour.

As well as getting shots on-site after the ceremony at the Sheraton Mirage, we took them to the Sugar Wharf, Rex Smeal Park and down to Four Mile Beach for their photographic tour with the bridal party in tow. The bride was an ex-gymnast, so we had some fun taking some action shots of her. Here are a few pics from their day.

From the moment we met with Rob during our wedding preparations we knew that he was the photographer for us. He was easily contactable, happily answering our many questions and going out of his way to show us all the best places around Port. All really improtant with a destination wedding. On the day it was just like having another member of the family along with us!

It was nice to know that we were in safe hands. We felt very lucky as Rob, the staff at the Sheraton, the hair and makeup ladies from Blush, Natasha our Celebrant and Rainflowers were all excellent. We couldn't recommend the Port Douglas experience more highly.

We are really happy with all the photos, every single one was fantastic and we would have found it very hard to limit it to the nine above! Within three weeks the CD's were in our letterbox which was great as everyone is asking to see them!
